Hi! I'm Doug McLean, "The Mad Scientist". Welcome to my web page.

I've been The Mad Scientist for many years because I'm always doing science type things. I've built Tesla Coils and Jacob's Ladders, rockets, electronic gadgets and gizmos, and more. I also collect rocks and fossils, and am interested in most of the sciences including physics, astronomy, chemistry, and geology.

I also used to run "The Mad Scientist's BBS", a computer Bulletin Board System (BBS) back in the days before the Internet.

One of my hobbies is photography, and I sell photos online through the microstock agencies. You may have seen some of my photos on other websites, in the news, or in publications.

I have also created a cookbook, a variety of digital art, and a few other things.
